    Residents are invited to a choice of morning exercises. Either Yoga by the sea or Polar Bear club (water aerobics at the Inkwell beach on Nantucket Sound in Oak Bluffs) or a brisk jog around the near by marina.

    Buffet Breakfast is put out at 8:00 AM and removed at 10:00 AM.

    All of the residents gather together in one place (the living room, the beach, a park) and write silently for three hours. 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

    Residents are free to do as they wish until 5:00 PM.

    1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Free time.

    5:00 PM, residents gather for drinks (non-alcoholic), hor'deuvres and conversation as to the work they did that day, stumbling blocks, problems with writing and breakthroughs. We also discuss agents, publishers and trends in fiction.

    6:00 PM Dinner with an invited guest (Monday. or Tuesday.)

    Sunday night... Evening picnic at the Inkwell

    Monday afternoon....a walking tour of the island br/>
    Monday night... memoire workshop with Susan Kline

    Tuesday night... guest artist (local or visiting professional... see list) with after dinner salon open to the public.

    Wednesday night... Silent Wednesday, there is no talking all day until dinner.

    Thursday night... professional reader will read the works of those who want to hear their work read aloud.

    Friday afternoon: editing of works based on readings the night before.
    Friday night.. Lobster Clam bake in Menemsha to see the setting of the sun

    Saturday...last minute editing and farewells.

    Residents are invited to a choice of morning exercises. Either jogging around the on site pond or hiking the mountain trail. Horseback riding is available at a near by horse farm.

    Buffet Breakfast is put out at 8:00 Am and removed at 10:00 Am.

    All of the residents gather together in one place (the great room or by the pond) and work quietly and together for three hours. 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

    Buffet Lunch is put out at 1:00 PM and can be eaten anywhere on the grounds.

    Residents are free to do as they wish until 5:00 PM.

    2:00 - 5:00 PM Free time.

    5:00 PM, residents gather for drinks (non-alcoholic), hor'deuvres and conversation as to the work they did that day,stumbling blocks, problems with the work and breakthroughs. Other subjects discussed are: agents, publishers, trends, etc.

    6:00 PM Dinner with an invited guest (Tues & Thurs)

    Evening activities

    Sunday night... Barbeque by the pond as you see the setting of the sun.

    Monday night... meet and greet.

    Tuesday night... guest artist (local writer....see list). After dinner salon open to the public.

    Wednesday night... Silent Wednesday, there is no talking all day until dinner.

    Thursday night... professional reader will read the works of those who want to hear their work read aloud and critique the works of visual and other artists.

    Friday night... public performance of spoken word or exhibition of work at the Off Center Theatre which is in a barn adjacent to the property.

    Evening activities

    Sunday night.. Arrival. Short tour of the area. We go to Polo Games in the afternoon. Backyard BBQ on Sunday night.

    Monday-Friday: Since each resident will have their own home which has a full kitchen and full bathroom, residents will have coffee served to them from 8:00AM - 10:00AM in the study house. 10:00 - 1:00 all residents will work in one room in the study house.
    Monday night... Pool side discussion of goals for each persons project.

    Tuesday night.. Dinner with local writer.

    Wednesday night.. Silent Wednesday, there is no talking all day until dinner.

    Thursday night.. Professional reader will read the works of those who want to hear their work read aloud or critique the visual art work.

    Friday night... Trip to Joshua Tree (this can be overnight..or maybe not).
